Android Lollipop 5.1 Update for Spice and Micromax's Android One devices

Hey guys!

A day before yesterday Micromax and Spice rolled out the Android 5.1 Lollipop's OTA update, well Karbonn didn't.
Well many of us were sort of disappointed by Google Inc. for not keeping their promise but it's fine as Google first announced the Lollipop 5.0 then 5.0.1, 5.0.2 and finally 5.1
.

So instead of rolling out three OTA updates of Android Lollipop for their Android One devices the simply and directly worked on the Android Lollipop's 5.1 update for their Android One devices, which is a nice thing as you'll would be saving your data as the OTA Update is of 409.8MB.

Here's how you can update your Android One Phone :-

1. In some of the phones a         notification would have appeared and if not then you can simply go to your phone's Settings>About Phone>System Update>click on Check for Updates and that's it.

2. You'll see a notification like this

3. Now you'll can simply download the update and after downloading you'll see a notification like this and click on Restart & Install button to install the update.
It might t take a couple of minutes as in my case it took around 10 minutes.

If it says that your system is up-to-date then you'll have to go to Settings>Apps>All then scroll down and fond the Google Services Framework. Then you'll have to tsp on Clear Data then click on Force Stop. Now you just have to restart your device and your done automatically the notification will appear in the notification panel.
