OnePlus One unboxed and overview, It’s a flagship killer but with some limitations
OnePlus One, the device which stunned the people when it was showed off for the first time. Actually OnePlus is the name of the manufacturer and One is the name of the device. Interesting thing about this smartphone is that it’s not available for all and only the people who are having special invites are able to order the device from the manufacturer’s site.
The device comes with a great set of specifications underneath and it really comes with a power pack performance. Since, it comes with specs which are being seen in high end devices still the company has followed a kind of wired procedure of making the device available to the consumers.

- It comes with a giant 5.5 inch full HD JDI display with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution at 401 ppi & Gorilla Glass 3.
- It runs a Qualcomm© Snapdragon™ 801 processor with 2.5GHz Quad-core CPUs with Adreno 330 GPU.
- It comes with 3 gigs of RAM with 16 gigs and 64 gigs mass memory variants, It has no SD card slot.
- It comes with a 13 MP primary shooter i.e. Sony Exmor IMX 214 with Dual LED and 4K video recording.
- It also arrives with 5 MP secondary shooter with HD video recording.
- It comes with bottom facing dual speakers.
- Device runs Android 4.4 with Cyanogenmod 11S.
- Dimensions of the device are 152.9 x 75.9 x 8.9 mm and it’s weight is 162 gm.
- Bluetooth, NFC, 3G connectivity available.
- Packed with a 3100 mAh battery (Non user replaceable).
The device comes with a very powerful specs sheet as mentioned above and it also feels premium in hand. But the device has some limitations and it’s biggest con is the big size of the device which is actually not made for people with small hands. We just had an overview with the device and in performance segment it performs absolutely flawless.
It comes with great customisation options which are only available with Cyanogenmod which makes the device a great choice if you like to customise stuff on your One. It is expected according to strong rumours to arrive in India, In US the 16 GB sells for US $299 ad the 64GB for $349 but official pricing for Indian market is not yet know, We will keep you updated as we get more info on One Plus One launch in India.
