The upcoming Huawei made Nexus: spotted in a leaked video

Earlier this week we got a look at Huawei’s rumored Nexus phone thanks to some leaked case schematics. Now graphic designer Jermain Smit is bringing those images to life with a new YouTube video teasing the alleged smartphone.
Smit actually worked with Steve Hemmerstoffer, who leaked the original Nexus renders via his Twitter handle @OnLeaks. The video adds texture and colors, which really bring the device to life. The rumored metal design looks great, though that rear camera hump makes the device pretty lopsided.
Huawei’s Nexus is expected to pack high-end specs, including a 5.7 or 5.5-inch display, a cutting edge Snapdragon processor, a 3500mAh battery, a 21-megapixel rear camera, wireless charging, USB-C and a fingerprint scanner. Rumor has it Google will also release a smaller LG-made Nexus alongside the stock Android phablet.
Now that Android 6.0 Marshmallow is official these new phones may be right around the corner. Then again, Google typically releases the latest Nexus devices a little later in the year in October, so we may still have to wait a few more months.
